Archive Policy

PRISMA-IJSHR is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published research articles. To ensure the integrity and continued availability of scholarly content, the journal employs digital archiving strategies in compliance with international best practices.

Digital Archiving and Repository Systems

PRISMA-IJSHR utilizes multiple archiving systems to safeguard published articles against data loss, ensuring that research remains accessible for future generations. These include:

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) – A distributed archiving system that preserves journal content across multiple libraries.
  • CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) – A secure, long-term preservation system that ensures continued access in the event of journal discontinuation.
  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) – A digital archiving initiative that provides open-access journals with a secure preservation system.
  • Institutional Repositories – Selected articles may be archived in institutional digital repositories and national research databases.

Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are permitted and encouraged to self-archive their published articles to maximize research dissemination and citation impact. PRISMA-IJSHR allows:

  • Preprints – Authors may deposit preprint versions of their manuscripts in preprint servers or institutional repositories before peer review.
  • Postprints (Accepted Manuscripts) – Authors may upload their peer-reviewed, accepted versions to institutional repositories, personal websites, or open-access archives.
  • Published Versions (Final PDF) – Authors may share the final published version under the journal’s open-access policy, ensuring proper citation and linking to the journal’s official site.

Permanent Article Identifiers

To maintain reliable and verifiable access, all published articles are assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier), ensuring persistent identification and direct linking to the official publication.

Through this comprehensive archiving policy, PRISMA-IJSHR safeguards the scholarly record and guarantees that research remains publicly accessible and preserved over time.
