The Role of Clinics in Tuberculosis Control Efforts to Support National Programs and Accreditation Fulfillment in Pati Regency in 2025

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that is still a public health problem and is one of the causes of death. The Indonesian government has various national programs for the control of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB). The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Clinic in efforts to eradicate pulmonary TB in order to support national programs and fulfill accreditation in Pati Regency. This study was conducted in May 2025. This type of research is a qualitative study with a simple random sampling technique. The subjects in this study were TB program holders as the main informants. The results of the study showed that health clinics in Pati Regency participated in efforts to eradicate pulmonary TB, recruit pulmonary TB patients, conduct screening/early detection of pulmonary TB, conduct health promotion for pulmonary TB prevention, and conduct external networking with health facilities obtained results of 100%, while the role of health clinics in Pati Regency in diagnosing pulmonary TB obtained results of 66.7%, the role of health clinics in Pati Regency in providing treatment for pulmonary TB patients obtained results of 40%, and the role of health clinics in Pati Regency in recording and reporting through the Tuberculosis Information System (SITB) obtained results of 90%. The conclusion of this study is that several types of activities carried out by health clinics in Pati Regency in efforts to eradicate pulmonary TB have been running well, but there are still some activities that have not been running optimally.
